The Udu Drum originates from Nigeria. First used as a clay pot for carrying water, it was only played as a musical instrument by the women of the village. Today, it is used by musicians in playing various music forms.

I already play a mountain lap dulcimer, but this one gives the instrument a whole different dimension to playing. Really beautiful craftsmanship. Thus isn’t a toy, but a lovely wooden instrument. Very easy to play!
