Singing Bowl, Bronze, 7 1/2 inch. These are hand made and the sizes may vary slightly. Spun bronze, includes wooden beater. The bowls are made of Panchaloha: literally translated from Sanskrit as Five Metals. The metal alloys contain copper, tin, zinc, iron and other metals

Singing bowls are played by the friction of rubbing a wooden mallet around the rim of the bowl to produce overtones and a continuous 'singing' sound. They are commonly used for meditation, relaxation, healthcare, personal well-being and religious practice.
