Bombo is a cylindrical shaped drum found in the Andean region. The body of the drum is made from thin plywood with the drum head made from stretched animal skins retaining its fur, which produces a deep muffled tone. The Bombo is played with a mallet striking the wooden rim or the drum head. Rope tension, 19" X 15" goat skin head with hair. Comes with one stick. ***Color of hair may vary from photo and length of drum may vary by a couple of inches. ***

I already play a mountain lap dulcimer, but this one gives the instrument a whole different dimension to playing. Really beautiful craftsmanship. Thus isn’t a toy, but a lovely wooden instrument. Very easy to play!
