Commonly known as the Siku, this small, two-row panpipe is compact, lightweight, and easy to play. An authentic instrument, handcrafted and assembled in the South America Andean region, it is adorned with festive, colorful braided wraps. Made of cane, the 13 or 15 tube large Siku sounds slightly over one octave, in relative pitch, the longest tube measuring approximately 13 inches. I already play a mountain lap dulcimer, but this one gives the instrument a whole different dimension to playing. Really beautiful craftsmanship. Thus isn’t a toy, but a lovely wooden instrument. Very easy to play!
