The Charango is a miniature guitar-lute originating from the Andes mountains. Traditionally made with the shell of the back of an armadillo, the Charango has a wide neck with 10-strings in 5 courses. The Charango is tuned G4 G4, C5 C5, E5 E4, A4 A4, E5 E5.

I already play a mountain lap dulcimer, but this one gives the instrument a whole different dimension to playing. Really beautiful craftsmanship. Thus isn’t a toy, but a lovely wooden instrument. Very easy to play!
